When I learned Jeron had opened his business and began offering the Backland riser again, I was thrilled and placed an order. The Backland was everything I hoped it would be: It has a more mass than my wood riser, thus giving me more stability; it has an adjustable side plate, thus making tuning easier; it has another burger hole, if I want an elevated rest; it has a bushing for a stabilizer (I am thinking about that); and the low grip is great. All-in-all a the Backland is a win.
